Harmony Animal Rescue Clinic (HARC) is our way of giving back to local animal rescues for all their hard work in saving dogs and cats and giving them a new lease on life. We currently have one excellent HARC doctor, but are looking for a doctor that can work 2-3 full days a week and who’s also excited about giving back to these 501c3 rescue groups. The hours would be three weekdays from 8 AM -6 PM with no weekends. This position could grow in the future as HARC grows. 

Each day at HARC begins with 10-15 spay/neuters, and then moves on to 1-3 other surgeries or sometimes dental work. In the afternoon we do appointments with exams, vaccinations, and whatever other medical care a pet needs to be ready to get to a foster and find a forever home. Since August 2020, we have already worked with 27 rescue groups and helped over 900 animals including over 600 surgical procedures.

Our current benefits include:

• Continuing education expenses: $1,500.00 reimbursed annually

• North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board fee: $150.00 reimbursed annually

• North Carolina Privilege License: $50.00 reimbursed annually

• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License fee: 50% reimbursed when due

• Healthcare reimbursement of $250.00 per month.
