We regret that you may be struggling to come to terms with the sudden closure of the Cat Clinic of Cary on such short notice. Please rest assured, though, that we are here and happy to help you by providing you a copy of your beloved cat’s records so that you may continue your pet’s care at a veterinary hospital of your choice. If you so choose, Harmony Animal Hospital would be delighted to serve as your new veterinary hospital, either temporarily or permanently.
As you may imagine, we have experienced a large volume of requests, and as such, appreciate your understanding in providing the information below so that we may be as prompt as we can in preparing the records for you. Please allow us 10 days to fulfill your request.
So you are aware, we do not have the records here on our premises, nor do we have the resources available to scan, email, or copy the records at our location. Rather, we must visit an off-site storage facility where the records are archived, gather the requested records, and transport them to a copy center. After the copies are made, the original records are returned to the archives, and the copies are brought to Harmony Animal Hospital. Once here, the records are available for pick-up.
We ask for your understanding of all that is involved in making your pet’s records available to you. Likewise, it is our hope that asking you to reimburse us for our cost seems fair and acceptable to you. To that end, the cost to provide you a copy of your pet’s records is $5.00 (regardless of the number of pets in your household). As an alternative to driving here to pick up the copies, we are happy to mail the records to you, via USPS flat-rate envelope (with tracking), for an additional cost of $6.45.
