Harmony’s History & Mission

Harmony Animal Hospital was opened in 2009 by Dr. Jodi Reed and her husband, Jason Lenhardt, with a vision of serving the veterinary needs of the community to the highest degree possible, ensuring quality veterinary care is available and accessible to as many patients as possible. To accomplish this mission, Harmony hires cheerful, bright, energetic, professional and ambitious people dedicated to working with a team of other like-minded animal care-givers in a private practice veterinary office.

We view our clients and employees as family and friends and their pets as our own.  We prefer to select candidates that fit our brand so that we can promote from within whenever possible and offer the training and development necessary to achieve our practice’s and our employee’s goals.

We are looking for a Practice Manager who is growth-oriented and purpose driven.  The right person will have an entrepreneurial spirit and take ownership of this position.  He or she is known by others as being cheerful, personable, results-driven, cooperative in nature, a lifelong learner and having a high emotional IQ.

  • 5+ years practice management experience is a must. It can be in another field such as dental or primary care.
  • Though no veterinary experience is required, it is a plus.

  • Being an active pet owner is essential
  • 4-year college degree is required. A major in business or a related field is preferable.

  2. Attracting new clients & client retention
  3. Profitability
  4. Staff training & development

We want someone who understands how these different areas function and will offer up thoughtful and creative ways to assist in the growth of the hospital.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50,000 Base Salary plus bonuses based on goals developed with the four areas of growth in mind. First year potential up to $85,000 with a 6-figure potential moving forward

  • 120 hours PTO

Here are what some of your peers have to say:

“I love that Harmony is a private practice and not a corporation. Harmony is interested in and recommends what is needed for the patient. We aren’t afraid to try new treatments or treatment modalities, and the practice is not just concerned with what’s best for the bottom line. Harmony is a busy, busy practice…that’s important to me as a RVT because I want to use my education and improve my skills, and not being bored is great, too! I feel I have a voice and can contribute to constantly improving this practice.” -A.L.

“Harmony is a fulfilling place to work in my chosen profession. Not only do we practice great medicine, but it’s also a family work environment.”
-J.B

“Working at Harmony allows me to use my technical skills on a day-to-day basis.  I enjoy working in a Tech-driven environment where the Doctors trust the Technicians for various responsibilities throughout the day.  Harmony is a fast-paced veterinary hospital that allows you to provide high quality-of-care to pets without losing the attention to detail.  It is an added bonus to work alongside co-workers who obviously care about their jobs as much as you do.  The Harmony family consists of hard working individuals who come together and create a dynamic team to work with.  After working in other clinics I can’t imagine working anywhere else other than Harmony Animal Hospital.”
-M.W.

“We blur the line between professional and family with our clients. Our relationships are warm and real, and that ensures we can treat our patients like our own pets. Harmony represents the essence of teamwork – we help each other throughout the day and at the end of the day. When times get tough, we’re there for each other, and new team members are always welcomed in and made to feel at home. On top of that, we offer unparalleled veterinary services for our clients and patients.”
-L.F.
